Ah, It’s YoVille – Time to Grab the Survival Kit

YoVille sure seems to be adept at eating the hours in my day. Whenever I get online each day, I tell myself that I will avoid it at all costs – spending my time doing something productive like watching YouTube videos or staring out the window (joking of course). But, soon enough I’m in there baking new sweets, visiting friend and pretending to fish. I’ll admit it – I’m an addict.

So, when I saw that there was a new guide out there for the game called YoVille Secrets, I couldn’t hold back any longer. This is a game that deserves to be researched and enjoyed as much as possible and if I could cut down the time I spend wasting around in the game (or more realistically, get more done with the time I do spend there), all the better.

Turns out, I could do both. Not only does YoVille Secrets help you get the most out of every minute you spend in the game, it creates a highly streamlined strategy that will allow you to play less and get further each day. It shows you how to make the maximum allotment of coins each day, how to setup a schedule and find friends to help you top out your profits. It helps you create a streamlined approach to everything you do in the game, including the dreaded leveling curve.
In short, it makes my life so much easier and I still get to play the game that I love so much. Which is a nice plus, especially when I don’t end up spending four or five hours logged into Facebook at a time. The funny looks and questions I get from my friends and family when they see me on there all day are quite enough to make you want to crawl into a hole. Now, however, things are a lot easier. So, if you’re like me at all (and if so, I’m sorry), then check out YoVille Secrets.

Everything You Need to Know About the Big YoVille Guide

Two weeks ago, I heard that a new YoVille guide was going to be released by Tony Sanders, the guy who has written all of the other Facebook game guides that I’ve seen floating around. A lot of my friends who play FarmVille and Café World swear by these guides, and while I don’t play those games all that much (certainly not enough for a guide), I love YoVille, so I picked up YoVille Secrets as soon as it became available and started to read. What exactly was this thing going to do for me that I couldn’t have figured out on my own?

Turns out, there were a lot of things I hadn’t figured out on my own, and probably most of them I never would have. I don’t think so competitively. I don’t try to be the “best” innately. Don’t get me wrong, I love rising to the top at something I’m doing, I just don’t go out of my way to do it.

But, with YoVille Secrets, I didn’t need to. The guide was written in a way that I didn’t even need to think about the game any differently, I just needed to change a few very small things about how I played the game and start developing some actual strategies such as a good schedule for playing the game and an effective method to pinpoint my strengths and put aside my weaknesses in the game.

I started to level up much faster and was making over 2,000 coins a day in profit, just by doing a few things differently.
In a matter of days (this was 12 days ago now), I was at level 42 and should now reach Level 50 in another week, tops. It’s amazing how much better you play when you know what you’re doing and why. With YoVille Secrets, it became so much easier.

Who Really Needs a Guide for YoVille?

I have been playing Facebook games for a long time now and so I have a few people who come to me on occasion to get my opinions of these things. The other day, I had someone ask me why they might need a YoVille guide. Apparently, a new guide had been released by Tony Sanders (you probably know the guy by now), and my friend was wondering if the guides were worth picking up.

In the past, I’ve reviewed the FarmVille and Café World guides, but I have not yet taken a look at the YoVille guide to see what it was made of. And generally speaking, I have mixed feelings on the guides. I think they’re great – they work wonderfully and if you’re interested in getting to the top of the game fast, that’s the way to go. But, some people just like to have a few minutes of fun each day without competing, so they are a bit different.

For those people, I like to hedge my statements by telling them that they can benefit from the guides, but don’t need them to have fun.

With YoVille, I may have found a match for that statement though. Because, here’s the thing about YoVille. It’s fun and all, but if you don’t have a clear idea of what you’re doing and how to do it, you can get pretty bored pretty quickly.
So, when my friend asked about YoVille Secrets, I had to check it out and I found that this one is a bit different. If you play YoVille, pretty much at all, then you need to have this guide. Sound like a big statement? It’s because it is. This thing is fantastic though. There are so many different ways it can help you, from creating a schedule, to getting enough coins each day, to reaching higher levels and unlocking rare items. It’s a fantastic companion for any YoVille fan – hands down.

Three Things I Love About YoVille Secrets

I stumbled across the newest YoVille guide the other day when I was surfing the Internet looking for some good tips on the game. I’ll admit it – I’m stuck – and I was hoping to find something that would help me kick this game into high gear. I love the Facebook games, but when I get stuck, I tend to get bored….but I can’t seem to stop playing, so I really need to find a way to get moving again.

Thank God I ran across YoVille Secrets. To my knowledge, this is one of the only guides out there right now for YoVille and it’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. From the second I opened it up and found over 50 pages of tips and strategies for the game, I’ve been in heaven.

I’m serious – you have no idea how stuck I was – and finding a guide like this that lets me get back into the game in the way that I need to has been amazing. But, I promised some specifics, so here are the things that this guide has done to make me so happy.

1. Easy Coins

I hate finding coins – they seem to trickle in and then disappear just as quickly. YoVille Secrets told me exactly how many I can make each day, how to create a schedule and how to maintain the schedule step by step from level 1 to 50. Doesn’t get much easier than that.

2. Leveling Help

Reaching Level 50 sure seemed simple, but then I hit a block around level 20 and started to crawl. YoVille Secrets showed me the best way to load up on XP and I was at Level 50 in 2 more weeks.. TWO WEEKS! Seriously, this was easily the most amazing thing about the guide.

3. How to Trade

I’d seen other people trading, but I didn’t think it was legit. You hear about the scammers and you assume that everyone is trying to cheat you. Well, it turns out there are ways to trade stuff and get some serious coin without being a jerk. Right on YoVille Secrets.

There are a few other reasons I could recommend this guide, but if you’re a YoVille player like me, then this should be more than enough to pique your interest. Get over there and check it out. You’ll thank me later.

Getting to the Root of the New YoVille Guide

I have been playing YoVille for some time now and in that time period I have found a lot of useful resources to help play this game a little better. But, to be wholly honest, I’ve never found anything that was actually 100% useful in setting up a new player or overhauling old play styles. The game just seems to get harder these days, especially as I get closer to level 50 and so when YoVille Secrets hit the market the other week, I knew I needed to pick it up and see what a “guru” Facebook gamer had to say about it.

I’ll admit I was as little snarky at first, but it didn’t last long. Let me tell you why. This guide is fantastic. From the opening section to the final guide on leveling your character to 50, everything I read in this thing was incredibly useful, showing me that there were so many ways to do things better than I had been doing them.

That old feeling that I was doing everything wrong and needed someone to step in and help me seemed to dissipate like steam in the dessert – leaving me with a brand new blueprint that was showing me exactly what I should be doing to load up on more coins, get higher in levels faster and ultimately create a pretty awesome looking house with a lot of neat items inside.

So, for anyone out there who may have seen YoVille Secrets and was wondering exactly what you could get out of it, let me tell you exactly what to expect. You’re going to start seeing this game a lot more competitively. If that’s not your cup of tea, you may want to steer clear. For everyone else, who wants to jump to the front of the line and start playing a lot better, then this is exactly the guide you need to get you started.

Three Tips for Leveling Up in YoVille

One of the most frustrating parts about any Facebook game is the ridiculously slow leveling curve. Just as you start to enjoy the game and get into it, the speed at which you can play starts to severely cut down and you’re stuck wondering just how much longer you’ll have to sit there and wait to reach one more level. Leveling up in YoVille is no exception to that rule, even with a far smaller number of experience points needed to reach the leveling cap. So, to help those who are having trouble leveling in YoVille, here are three top tips.

1. Have a Schedule Each Day

Plan out your days and make sure you have enough time each day when you login to get it all done. Find out when you can get online and build your Sweets Factory schedule in a way that will support your time. If you can get on every 12 hours, you can earn a solid 64 XP per day from the ovens, but if you can get on 6 times a day, take home the 192 XP you can get instead. Planning helps a lot here.

2. Buy a Lot of Cheap Food

You can buy items and resell them for XP (both for buying and selling), but you can get a far greater volume of XP for your coins by just buying cheap food like Popcorn and Hotdogs. This cheap food only costs a handful of coins (often only 5 each), and you gain 1 XP each time you buy one. You’re getting a return of 1 XP per Coins. It might not seem that good, but with a Level 50 cap at 33,500 XP, you can get there with only 168,000 Coins – not that bad if you want to speed your way there.

3. Be Realistic

Don’t expect to hit Level 50 overnight. Even if you do Number 2 above to speed up the process, you need to get those coins and then spend all that time buying and consuming over 30,000 hotdogs and popcorns. That alone will take a LONG time – far faster than normal methods but also far duller. If you are patient though and just grind along, you’ll be Level 50 before you know it.

As you can see, there are multiple ways to ensure that leveling up in YoVille is not a horrible experience. If you sit down and create a good schedule, buy what you can afford with your coins and don’t expect to hit level 50 overnight, the process will start to go by much quicker than you ever thought possible. Ultimately, this will make your job so much easier and will allow you to sit back and enjoy the game far more than you probably are right now.

How to Get Coins in YoVille

There are a lot of ways to get the coins in YoVille you need to perform at the top of the game’s many echelons of excellence. But, if you’re really serious about putting together a game play strategy that will allow you to reach Level 50 quickly and enjoy the fruits of all that labor – including the high level homes and items to put in those homes, you need to start figuring out the fastest way to make coins. Here are some tips to getting the most possible coins in YoVille each and every day you login.

How Many Ways to Get Coins in YoVille Are There?

There are a lot of ways to make coins in YoVille, though in terms of daily earning, there are three ways that most players will turn to.

The first of those methods is to bake items in the Sweets Factory. The Sweets Factory can reward you for as much time as you invest in the game. If you log in every 4 hours, all day, you can make up to 1600 coins a day from this alone. Most people will make at least 500 coins a day from this though, which is still a very good return.

The next way to get coins is to load up on friends and perform missions in their homes. These missions will reward you with up to 20 coins per action you perform and you can do 25 of them a day for a maximum total return of 400 coins. That kind of return is a great way to make a solid profit and it will help ensure you get some nice gifts.

The third way to get coins easily is to go out and complete the different games and activities in the game such as tic tac toe, rock paper scissors, fishing, and motocross. Each event will reward you 10 coins for winning, with a maximum daily return of 200 coins – that can add up quickly too.

If you’re a true YoVille fan, you are likely logged in each day for a couple, three hours. The key to getting as many coins in YoVille as possible though is not just being online, but finding a way to spread out that time and focus it in on the methods of play that will most reward you. By completing all of your missions, staying on top of your Sweets Factory schedule and playing games until you max out your winnings each day, you can make as many coins in YoVille as possible without needing to worry about wasted efforts.

The Real Value of YoVille Cash

There are a number of reasons why players go out and buy YoVille cash, the premium currency in YoVille that you cannot get through normal gaming methods. If you’re one of those players who has never bought currency in a Facebook game, and you’re just now wondering if it is worthwhile, it makes good sense that you want some help figuring out what you can do with it and how it will ultimately help your account level up faster. So, here are some tips on how to get and manage YoVille cash and whether or not it’s really something you need.

The Uses for YoVille Cash

There are a lot of things you can do with YoVille Cash. Probably the easiest and most effective use of the cash is to buy items that you would otherwise need to earn coins for. This includes high level items in the game for your home or some of the rarer, more interesting houses like the Mafia Don’s Villa or the TreeHouse, which each cost around 50 cash each (about $10 in real world money).

In terms of speeding up your leveling progress, there are no direct ways to do this with YoVIlle Cash. However, you can spend the cash to buy things that will help you get more XP indirectly. Since you can buy food and items that will reward you with XP, you can either trade Cash items for coins with other players, or you can buy items with Cash and resell them back for coins and then buy food. It may seem like a roundabout way to play the game, but it works wonders for some players trying to reach Level 50 quickly – which is just about anyone playing the game.

The truth is that, like any other Facebook game, you don’t need YoVille cash to do anything. Rather, you can get it to unlock hidden and rare items that are only available in this way and you can use it to speed up the leveling process, something that some players are interested in doing, if only so they can get to the top of the game as fast as possible. Whether you’re that person who needs the extra speed boost or are just interested in seeing what you can buy, be sure to carefully plan when and how much YoVille cash you buy. The cost really will start to add up on you rather quickly.

Make the Most Coins in the YoVille Sweets Factory

There are a lot of important features in YoVille – things that you need to do if you are serious about getting enough coins and XP to reach Level 50 in as little time as possible. One of the more important things you should be working on though is the mastery of the YoVille sweets factory. Added to the game in September of 2009, this feature is such that it requires a great deal of focus on the exact things you will bake and even more so, how often you can log into the game to swap out those baked goods to make more coins.

The Three Factors that Determine Your Profits in the YoVille Sweets Factory

First off, there is the matter of what you are baking. There are 7 different options, but they are all very different options that will only matter depending on your schedule, which is the second factor. You need to be able to login each day at the right time to unload your ovens and fill them back up with new baked goods. The more often you can login, the more coins you can make. Here’s the reason why. The shorter bake times for goods like Cookies may yield less coins per batch, but per hour spent baking, they yield far more than the others. Cookies can yield as much as 1600 coins a day if you bake them every 4 hours while the Yellow Cake yields only 1400 coins over the course of 3 full days, far less in terms of total profit.

The last thing you should keep in mind is that you need to have a lot of friends to take full advantage of the possible profit potential of your Sweets factory. If you only have 5 friends, you get a very small crew bonus of only 1-2 coins per item you bake. However, if you have 50 crew members (friends), you will get double the initial profit for every oven you unload on time. That means you can make between 8-40 extra coins per item you bake.

Whether you’re a brand new player or an old pro, mastering the YoVille sweets factory is going to be the single most important thing you do in YoVille. With more than 60% of your daily earning potential tied up to this part of the game, you’ll find that the more often you can get in here and change out the different baked goods you’re using and access the higher level content that the game has to offer, the better you will perform at just about everything you do.

Getting the 50 Crew Bonus Quickly in YoVille

YoVille has a lot of ways to measure your progress. There is the coin count, your experience points, your level, your current stamina, and how many friends you have. But, one of the more important factors that too many people tend not to understand as well as they should is the crew bonus – a factor that will determine how many coins you make when you play through the different levels of the Sweets Factory. If you’re serious about making a massive profit each day, you need to know how to get the full crew bonus and keep it.

What is the YoVille Crew Bonus?

The Crew Bonus in YoVille is a coin bonus you gain for each baked good you cook, depending on how many friends you have on your account. The crew bonus is different at certain intervals, starting at having just two crew members (or one friend – you count as one crew member). This bonus is very small, but is the start of a much larger scale to getting solid returns. Once you get up to a full 50 people in your crew, you will make a 100% bonus on each item you bake. For Cookies this is 8 coins all the way up to 40 coins for Yellow Cake.

How to Get a Full 50 Crew Bonus Quickly

The problem most people have in YoVille is finding 50 friends to tag onto their account so they can get that full bonus. This is where you’ll need to get a little creative. Because the odds of having 50 friends on your Facebook account from the start who play YoVille is slim, the easiest way to find these people is to join Facebook groups and find a club in YoVille where people will gladly friend you for the benefits you offer in crew bonus.

For some Facebook games, this is hard, but in YoVille it’s simple since you don’t actually need to do anything for a friend once they’re on your profile – you just need to be a friend to contribute to the crew bonus.

The sooner you can get 50 friends on your account, helping you earn more coins for everything you do in the Sweets Factory, the sooner you can double your total profits and start earning the kind of cash that is relegated only to the pros and elite experts of this game. With such a limited supply of coin making methods in YoVille, having such an easy way to increase your profits should be taken advantage of as quickly and as thoroughly as possible.

The Key to Successful Motocross in YoVille

There are a lot of features to choose from when you login each day, but motocross in YoVille is one of those things that every player can enjoy and get a nice little profit out of. But, to actually profit from motocross in YoVille, you need to first learn how to win every race. If you start running losing races, it could take a very long time to get near maxing out the number of winning races you can run. That would make it a lot duller and more like a chore than most people are comfortable with. Here are some tips to improving your motocross in YoVille scores and times and how to beat just about anyone you go up against.

The Secrets of Success with Motocross in YoVille

There are a couple of different things you need to get down right when playing the motocross minigame in YoVille if you want to be successful. To start with, you need to learn how to do the wheelies properly. This can be done by spending some energy mastering the amount of time you spend in the wheelie stance. If you just put it up and keep clicking, the motorcycle will flip over backwards. You also need to know when to drop out of the wheelie for ramps so that you don’t land on your head when you jump.

Keep in mind as well that you can also do a backflip to keep yourself from landing on your head. Just keep clicking down the wheelie button and the Yo will rotate back around to land on its wheels. Of course, if you miss the move you will still crash and you gain very little from doing it right (other than the cool factor).

That leaves the matter of getting past all the oil slicks and hitting each of the speed patches. These are important factors that will allow you to make up for crashing, but really, if you just never crash and stay in a wheelie the whole race, you’ll win almost every time.

If you’re serious about maxing out your coin count every day you login, you need to be playing the motocross minigame every day. But, before you even do that, you should make sure you are doing it properly. What good does it do you to login each day and try something that you don’t have the fundamentals down for? It would only result in a slew of wasted runs and a lot of potential profit down the tube.

How to Dominate at YoVille Minigames

YoVille has a lot of minigames that allow you to enjoy a great deal of different aspects of social interaction. From the simplest of them – tic tac toe – to the more complex and engaging methods in which you will be racing or fishing against other avatars, the YoVille minigames are loaded with fun little asides. The best part is that each YoVille minigame will allow you to make additional coins and experience points which will help you excel in the game in many other ways. If you are interested in learning how to play each of the YoVille minigames better, here are some tips.

What YoVille Minigames Are Available?

There are currently five minigames in YoVille that you can play actively whenever you login. They are all available as soon as you turn the game on for the first time and will all reward you with both XP and YoVille Coins for your efforts. Here is a complete list:

• Fishing
• Motocross
• Tic Tac Toe
• Rock Paper Scissors
• Casino Slots

Fishing and Motocross have their own options on the main map, but the Tic Tac Toe and Rock Paper Scissors icons are located only when you click on someone’s avatar and dig around to find these options under the “games” menu. All of the games except the Casino will give you up to 10 coins per win and you can earn up to 200 coins each day from playing them.

The Secret to Mastering the YoVille Minigames

There is no real secret here. You just need to practice…a lot. These minigames seem very cute and simple, but in truth, they are incredibly detailed and complex if you want to make sure you win every time. Your reflexes need to be good and you need to be very consistent. Of course, this isn’t taking into account Rock Paper Scissors or Tic Tac Toe which are two of the simplest games around and don’t have any true secrets to performing well.

The core of any good game play model for YoVille is to be consistent. You’re going to get a lot better at each of the YoVille minigames if you play them every day and max out your attempts. Fishing and Motocross in particular are deceptively simple looking, but require quite a bit of practice if you’re interested in jumping to the top and getting a lot better with them. So, make sure to stand back and start practicing these games a lot before you start tempting your friends into competitions. You’ll make some nice coins and have a lot of fun in the process.

The Key to Successful Fishing in YoVille

Fishing in YoVille is just one of many diversions that you can enjoy when you log in each day. To top things off though, fishing in YoVille allows you to earn a nice dividend of coins and experience points that would otherwise be harder to get. It can make up a nice chunk of your daily coin total and if you master it, can be a point of bragging for you when your friends come calling. Here are some tips to help make your fishing in YoVille experience that much easier and a lot more fun.

How to Master Fishing in YoVille

To start the process of fishing in YoVille, you first need to make sure you understand how the game works. There is a short tutorial you can watch by clicking on the “How to Play” link in the upper right hand corner. Once you know the basics, getting them down just right is a lot easier. To start with, you need focus on getting you character in a position where they can get everything just right. You need to have the right bait and the right pole and you need to practice unfurling that line as deep as possible into the water. If you throw the line too shallow, you’ll only snag a few smaller fish. All the real volume is at the bottom of the pool.

What Fishing in YoVille Provides Your Character

If you fish every day in YoVille, you will be able to get up to 200 coins in profit for beating the other three fishers. You will also be able to get a good chunk of XP for your efforts. With XP in such short supply throughout the game, this is a great way to get it. You’ll find soon enough that you can show off your skills to other players as well – something that will be fun when you’re trying to find new things to do with all those neighbors you gather to your account.

The key to fishing in YoVille is practice – lots of it. If you’re the kind of person who needs explosions and alien brains to be entertained, then this might not be the most exciting thing you ever do. But, if you can open a chat program or read a book and work on catching some fish in YoVille, you can make some coins, get some experience points and master one of the more rewarding features of this game all in one fell swoop.

Getting to Know the YoVille Shops

The first thing you probably noticed when you logged into YoVille all those weeks or months ago was how many different buildings and shops there are in the town. Those buildings have only expanded as the game has grown, bringing with them a slew of new options and features. Many people don’t ever bother to dig around and figure out what everything does, but if you’re serious about being a truly great player in this game, you should truly consider spending some time focusing on what the game has to offer and what you’ll be buying from each of the YoVille shops.

What YoVille Shops Are Available

There are shops for just about everything you could imagine in YoVille. The first shops you will get acquainted with are the ones designed to give you back the energy you need to get different tasks done in the game. These include the coffee shop, the club, and the diner. You will then notice shops for all the clothing, furniture and various items you can buy for your home. You can also buy styles for your hair, as well as upgrades for your home. Recent additions also include the music store and the pet shelter where you can pay YoVille Cash to pick up your very own furry little friend.

How to Keep Track of all Those YoVille Shops

If you’re having trouble keeping track of all the shops in the game and what they are for, don’t worry – you’re not alone. Many people find it hard to remember what is available. Fortunately, you only really need a handful of them at any time, and some you will never buy anything from. The best route is to just look through them all once a week or so. That way, if you ever need an upgrade or item, you will know where to find it rather than sorting through hundreds of pages of items in each shop.

If you have fun going through the different YoVille shops and picking up an assortment of items for your home or your character, you are not alone. Those YoVille shops are among the more interesting aspects of the game and for anyone serious about excelling at the game, they are a highly necessary part of the process. But, make sure, when you start integrating shopping into your gameplay that you keep a close eye on the coins you spend.

How to Use Your YoVille Actions Menu

One of YoVille’s most fun features is the assortment of different actions you can perform with your character when you interact with your fellow players. This action menu is a highly interactive option that allows you to dance, play around, or make funny faces and postures with your friends. Whether you are just standing around and trying to entertain your fellow players, or you are interested in completing the missions the game has to offer, the YoVille actions menu will become a staple that you will grow very familiar with in short order.

How to Use the YoVille Actions Menu

The actions menu is located right below the game screen and has an icon on it of your Yo performing a physical activity. Just click on it to get a full list of all your options. They are split up into categories to make it easier to find them, and you can choose the most popular options from the main menu when you first click on it. If you use the same activity a lot, this will make it much easier to go about finding who and what they each include.

How to Get More Items on the YoVille Actions Menu

To get more actions on your action menu, you simply need to start leveling up your character. You can also buy other actions with your YoVille cash, but that can get pricey and is largely unnecessary as any actions you’ll actually need for the game will come from the leveling up you do. Throughout the game, every 2-5 levels, you will unlock a new action that can be tacked on to your menu and performed whenever you like. These range from goofy teenage things to more advanced physical activities. If you’re having trouble unlocking more by leveling up, focus on getting as much XP as possible by buying and selling items such as food.

The YoVille actions menu is a great tool that opens up new options in a game that thrives on relationships between you and your friends. If you are serious about creating a game experience that will allow you to stand out and have fun with everyone that you play the game with, then you need to be taking advantage of each and every one of the actions that are at your disposal. Learn how to measure out your energy use though or you may start to burn through it all before you can get anything done.

The Inside Scoop on the World’s First Real Café World Guide

There are a lot of different social games on sites like Facebook and MySpace. I’ve seen a dozen of them in the last few months blow up and frankly I didn’t get it at first. I saw people playing very simple, albeit free, games and while they looked interesting enough, they really weren’t all that engaging considering what they were.

But, then I started playing Café World. Don’t ask me why it was Café World. It could have been any of them probably. They’re all the same generally, and in that they are extremely addictive. But, it was Café World and now two months later I’m a bit of an addict – I love this game.

So, when I heard there was a guide coming out for it that would help to speed things along, I was first in line to read it. I wanted to know exactly what it was that this Café World guide could offer that I couldn’t figure out on my own.

Turns out, it was quite a bit. As of the two month mark, I was roughly 25 levels into the game. I would play about 3-4 days a week, and the last day would rarely count because I would usually let all my food spoil in the interim when I took the weekend off.

The Café World guide, however, showed me exactly how to outline and master the process of what to cook, when to cook it and how to set up the café before I logged off each night. Turns out you can actually make quite a tidy profit while not even logged in – for days on end if you want.

I couldn’t possibly touch on all the cool things that this guide does right, but here’s the bottom line – Café World is a tough game without some guidance. There are dozens of dishes, possible combinations and ways for you to mess up with. This Café World guide, I was able to create the perfect combination of tactics. I’m now at level 45 and have way more cash than I’ll ever need – and I’m having more fun than ever. That’s what a good guide should do.

How Many of these Guides Do We Really Need?

There is another guide out for those social networking games. I just saw it on the forums for Café World last week and while at first I scoffed with everyone else (it’s a favorite pastime on the Zynga forums to scoff at the guides), I quickly found that the guide was actually a lot more useful than we were giving it credit for.

When I Checked it Out

I wasn’t going to check the guide out. But, then I started to ask around and heard a few good things about how it had been helping players start to build their cafes up from nothing into relatively high efficiency restaurants – something that I had repeatedly failed to do with my own café.

After a day or two of waffling, I gave in and checked the guide out and boy am I ever glad I did. To be frank, the guide really does everything it claims to do – something I’ve never seen a guide do before. From start to finish, the Café World guide (which is the first of its kind that I’m aware of) shows players how to dig down and learn how to be one of the best players in the game.

It shows you how to pick your foods, how to develop a strategy for leveling that doesn’t waste any time, how to get new neighbors and how to get things done without ever needing to spend real world cash on the in-game money or having to fill out countless surveys to get it done.

In short, the Café World guide is a big giant blueprint that shows players how to go from level 1 to the top of the game in a streamlined path. It doesn’t give you step by step directions like other game guides because that’s not how these games work. Rather, it shows you how to cater your play style to your own schedule and do well with the time you have to invest.

When you can do that, even a part time player can be a top ranked Chef.

Why Keeping Your Cafe World Customers Happy Is So Important

There are a lot of things to keep track of when you're trying to keep your cafe up and running in Cafe World. You need to make sure your dishes are coming along nicely, that you have enough servings left on your counters, and that the food you're making isn't going to spoil before you can get back to attend to it. If you're like most people, you also want to spend some time decorating your cafe and putting your own personal touch on things.

All of this is fine – that's what's so great about this game. There are so many options for game play and you can make so many decisions on your own that the possibilities for what you can accomplish in Cafe World really are just about endless. But with all of these decisions to make and avenues to explore, you do have to remember to take care of one other thing as well – your customers.

Business Is Business

If you want to be successful in Cafe World, you have to remember why your cafe exists in the first place. And that's to serve your customers. You can decorate your cafe, rearrange your tables, and explore all kinds of menu options, but at the end of the day, none of it will do you any good if you aren't able to keep customers coming through your door. Just as with any business, you have to give your customers what they want if you want to stay in business.

Cashing In

It's easy to focus on making coins as quickly as possible when you're working to build up your business in Cafe World, and there's nothing wrong with that. You've got to make money if you want to keep your doors open. And keeping your customers happy is the best way to maximize you profit potential. The more satisfied customers you send out the door, the more people will venture into your cafe.

Your Buzz Rating, the “thumbs up” number in the upper right hand corner of your screen, is a direct reflection of how happy you're making your customers. It's also directly related to the number of customers that walk through your door. The higher your Buzz Rating, the more quickly your customers will start to stream in, and so the faster they'll spend money.

Dishes vs Service

You can take all of the time you want planning out the perfect cooking and serving rotation so that you're maximizing your earning potential per sale. But that's not how you're going to bring in the most coins quickly. No matter how much your entree costs per serving, you only make money as quickly as you can serve it. Essentially, the quicker your sales, the more money you'll make.

Keep you customers happy and coming back regularly, and you'll see the coins piling up fast. This may not sound like what you want to hear. After all, there are much more interesting things to do in Cafe World than pay attention to all those people walking in and out of your door all day long. It's not nearly as complicated as it sounds. When you make the right decisions for your cafe, you'll be making the right decisions for your customers too. After all, it's just good business sense.

Do You Really Need Help to Master Café World?

So, I saw something the other day that caught my eye, and at first I couldn’t tell if it was in a good way or not. The thing in question was a guide for Café World – one of those PDF guides that tells you how to get through a game without having to stop and think about anything. At first, I thought it was silly – this is just a social game after all.

But, when I thought about it some more and how hard it is to get anything done in this game without a good chunk of real world cash or willingness to spend immense amounts of time in it, I wasn’t shocked to see that the game had a guide out already and I decided to check it out and see how it worked.

My Verdict

The Café World guide has been written to help guide you through every aspect of the game from start to finish. Basically, you are going to get an outline that shows you how to set up an account then effectively choose which dishes you cook, how you cook them, and who you will feed them to. The guide will then go on to showcase some hot tips on how to keep your café growing as you are offline, loading up on cash and making sure nothing ever spoils.

You’ll learn how to snag new neighbors, load up on cash and expand your restaurant without needing to ever spend real world cash on a game that doesn’t require it. This is basically one of the most streamlined and effective outlines of how to play this game I’ve ever seen.

Honestly, I’m not sure how the writer did it. These social games are so disjointed, that most of the time guides like this are just giant lists of features in the game, without any real insight. This guide however delves right to the root of what you need to be doing to succeed and never lets up.

If you need a helping hand or are just getting started in Café World, you ought to check out this guide. I’m telling you – it really helps.

Why the Layout of Your Cafe is So Important in Cafe World

A lot of the fun of playing Cafe World is the fact that you can customize your cafe in all sorts of ways. You can choose to add many different kinds of tables and chairs, doors and windows to create just the atmosphere you're looking for. You can also select from any of a number of other tasteful and interesting decorations. There are even several stylish options for the clothing that your own character wears.

But no matter what you decide to do when it comes to decorating your cafe, you need to remember that the way you set up your tables, chairs, counters and stoves will not only impact the ambiance of the place. It will also have a lot to do with your ability to succeed in the game and grow you business overall.

Easy Access Means Easy Money

First and foremost, you need to arrange your furniture so that your customers will actually be able to get to all of the available tables and chairs. If you have, for instance, three chairs in a row up against a wall, the middle chair is simply wasted space. Your customers can't walk past the outer chairs to get to the middle one, so you'll actually likely lose customers needlessly when they walk in and can't find a place to sit.

Since you know you never want to let customers walk away unsatisfied, you want to make sure that you have enough seating. It's easy to lose site of this aspect of your cafe. After all, you're the most actively involved in preparing and serving food – trying to make sure you always have food available and that the food on your stoves doesn't sit there too long and spoil. But none of that careful planning will do you any good if you don't have tables and chairs available for your customers to sit and eat at.

Save Your Waiter's Legs

Even when your customers are able to find an empty seat, they'll only wait so long to get their meal. That's why you need to make sure you set your tables up in a way that makes it easy for your waiter or waitress to get around. The quicker they can get back and forth from the serving counters to the tables, the easier it will be for you to make sure every customer who walks through your door gets their food in a timely manner.

Another thing you can do to help give your wait staff more time to serve your customers is to give your customers a long walk to their tables. This means essentially putting in a lot of twists and turns so that your customers will have to take the long way around from the door to their seat. Being generally rather agreeable, your customers really don't mind this at all. And the extra walking time for your customers means more time for your waiters and waitresses to stay caught up on their serving cycles. If you keep these items in mind as you add more tables and chairs to your cafe, you'll be well on your way to success in Cafe World.

What's So Special About Cafe World Gifts?

If you're familiar with some of the other social networking games out there, you've probably come across the practice of giving free gifts to your neighbors and receiving gifts from them. These gifts are generally items that you could buy yourself. But of course, it's always nice to get things for free. In Cafe World though, the gifts you give and receive break from this mold in several ways. They may actually be more important to your success in Cafe World than they are in any other social networking game that fits this same general mold, so don't be too quick to write them off just yet.

Unpurchaseable Merchandise

All of the items that can be gifted in Cafe World cannot be acquired any other way, and they give you a distinct advantage. These mysterious drinks actually consist of drinks, appetizers, and cookies, but when you serve them to your customers, you get extra coins for each customer in your cafe at the time they're served. For this reason, it's a big help to have a lot of gifts on hand, but to get a lot of gifts, you've got to have a lot of neighbors. Each of your neighbors will be limited on how many gifts they can send you within a certain time period, so the more neighbors you have, the more gifts you'll be able to accumulate.

Give to Receive

Of course, you can't just expect your friends to keep sending you gifts at the earliest possible opportunity on a regular basis. They need to be getting something out of the deal, and they also may just need to be reminded once in a while. That's why the best thing you can do if you want to get a lot of gifts is to give a lot of gifts. This is the easiest way to both remind your friends to send one your way and to put them in the mood to do it. And that way, you both benefit.

Don't Squander Your Gifts

The benefit you get from the gifts you receive will depend greatly on when you choose to use them. For instance, the chocolate chunk cookies will get you 5 coins per customer, but those customers have to be seated in your cafe when you use your gift for you to get the bonus for them. That means that if you use your cookies when there are only 4 customers eating in your cafe, you'll get 20 coins total from that gift. If you want until there are 10 customers seated at once, however, you'll make 50 coins off of the exact same gift.

These details make it easy to see that, not only are gifts very important to the ultimate success of your cafe, but that you actually have a lot of control over how many you receive and how much of a benefit you get out of them. It's easy to just write off things like gifts as nice bonuses to get, but aspects of the game that are of secondary importance. If you want to get ahead in Cafe World though, you'd be wise to think of gifts a little differently in this context.

Planning the Optimal Cafe World Menu

There are lots of tempting options when it comes to the items you can choose to put on your menu in Cafe World. As you advance to higher and higher levels of game play too, you only wind up unlocking more and more options in this regard. It can be very tempting to cook one item or another because of your own personal tastes, and really there's nothing wrong with indulging yourself from time to time. If you want to be successful in this business though, you'll have to make some more objective and analytical decisions when it comes to dish selection for your cafe.

Planning Around Your Schedule

The first thing you have to take into account when you're trying to decide what to cook is how soon you're going to be able to get back to check on your cafe and transfer prepared entrees from the stove to the serving counters. No matter how well planned your menu is, it won't do you much good if you don't get back to serve it in time.

Food that sits on the stove for too long will spoil rather quickly, and this is something you want to avoid at all costs. Not only will you lose the opportunity to serve this food, and so have to wait longer to replenish your serving counters, you'll lose the money you spent on the ingredients that went into making is. You'll also have to pay to clean up the mess which, while not a hefty sum, starts to loom larger and larger when you're not making money off of the food you're preparing.

Maximizing Your Earnings

Another factor to consider when you're making your decision about what to cook in any given situation is how many servings each preparation of that dish will create. This is important for a couple of reasons. One is that you want to be able to make enough food to last until you can get back to your cafe and refill your serving counters. That way you can continue making money all day and night, which is obviously the ideal situation.

The other reason this is important is because you need to have an empty serving counter when you're taking a new dish off the stove. If you're simply bringing out more of one of the dishes you're already serving, you can simply add those new servings to what was left of the old. However, if you have an entirely new entree coming off the stove, you'll need to have an empty serving spot available on the counter. This is a part of the menu planning process that is easily overlooked, but it can lead to a lot of spoiled food if you have entrees ready to come off of the stove but nowhere to put them.

Cost Per Serving

And of course, you want to pay attention to how much you'll make each time a customer purchases an entree. Maximizing this number will help you get the highest return per hour because it will mean you're getting the most out of each customer who walks through the door. And that, after all, is the goal of any good business owner.
